Are the wrinkles around your mouth and lower cheek a constant reminder of ageing? Does your smile cause wrinkles and creases around your mouth?

Known as perioral lines (or accordion lines), these wrinkles are a common sign of ageing, and reason many people seek anti-ageing treatments.

Treatments for perioral accordion lines focus on supporting the skin with volume. These give a naturally-refreshed appearance, and slow the ageing process.

Treatment info

What the treatment can do

Perioral lines are the curved, vertical wrinkles that form around your mouth and lower cheeks.

As you age, a loss of collagen and sagging causes the skin to bunch and crease when you speak and smile. Over time, these creases become deeper, forming perioral lines and wrinkles.

Also known as accordion lines, we can soften these wrinkles with dermal fillers.

The treatment works by filling in wrinkles, and improving the density, hydration and elasticity of your skin. This also prevents your accordion lines from getting worse.
