The side profile refers to your appearance when viewed from the side. The following facial features make up your side profile:
The forehead should have a gentle convex curve in women and a straight slope in men.
Men generally also have a more prominent brow bone (known as frontal bossing).
The nose should have a smooth shape and refined tip. It is typically larger and straighter in men. In women, the dorsum has a soft curve (either convex or concave depending on your ethnicity).
Your cheeks and cheekbones should be defined and structured. They are softer and more curved with a high apex in women. Men have sharper and straighter cheekbones, with a flatter and lower apex.
Your top lip should project slightly further forward than your bottom lip. It should also be the same height or slightly shorter than your bottom lip.
Your chin and jawline should be adequately projected and defined.
Your under chin should ideally have minimal fullness, transitioning into a concave neck silhouette.
