Procedure
Yes, we have a range of very strong numbing options to reduce any discomfort associated with your procedure.
Some of our more common numbing options including numbing cream, numbing injections, and vibration.
Results
Each treatment type takes a different amount of time to settle into the final result. Most results fully settle in 1-2 weeks, but for certain treatments it may take 8-12.
Preparation & Aftercare
Before your appointment there are a few steps to take. Good preparation ensures that your appointment runs efficiently, and you get the most out of it.
- Complete your new guest form which will be emailed to you before your appointment.
- Remove makeup before arriving.
- Closely shave your area of concern the day before your appointment.
- Aim to arrive 10 minutes early.
- Write down any questions you have in advance.
After any cosmetic treatment there are a few things to expect.
- Redness and swelling: while usually mild, expect slight redness and swelling at the treatment area.
- Tenderness: after any numbing wears off, mild tenderness is normal for a few days.
- Bruising: uncommon, but can occur. You can cover any bruises with makeup 12 hours after your treatment (unless otherwise advised by your treating practitioner).
Safety
Yes, we are one of the few clinics in Australia who use ultra sound before certain cosmetic treatments.
Ultra sound allows us to map out blood vessels and other important structures that we need to avoid when treating you.
Each cosmetic procedure will have a unique risk profile.
General risks common to most treatments include redness, swelling, bruising and infection. Unsatisfactory results are also a risk intrinsic to any cosmetic treatment.
Other treatments have additional risks including skin injury, lumps, nodules and granuloma.
To minimise risks, we follow strict selection criteria when deciding whether to treat, conducting a thorough clinical assessment, performing your treatment using evidence-based techniques, and providing you with clear aftercare instructions.
Chat live, call, or fill out the contact form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
